NES Primary Homeroom Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and innovative lower primary teacher to join an exciting new homeschool-style project. Based in a peaceful setting in Hangdong, Chiang Mai, the school’s curriculum integrates contemporary approaches to education with a set of Dharma-based goals that aim to develop the social, emotional and spiritual development of children.The successful candidate will be an experienced, fully qualified native English speaker who enjoys project-based, enquiry-based and outdoor learning. Working alongside a Chinese co-teacher, initially with a small group of students, he/she will be self-motivated, creative and committed.
Minimum requirements
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Internationally recognised teaching qualification (eg PGCE, US teaching license, BEd).
-At least five years experience teaching primary-age children.
- Interest in or experience of Buddhism, meditation and/or Dharma education.
-Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written skills
- Committed to working for the benefit of others.
